Handphone wall cable station! (Better than anything else you can buy outside)

I have really messy handphone charging station right now. In the past, we used to charge our handphones through the night right beside our bed at our bedside tables. But now with a little kiddo with us, we decided it's better to keep our handphones out from our bedroom and into higher ground where she can't touch it. But alas! Most Singapore new homes have really low charging points! And I seriously have no idea why. Maybe they think that you will definitely block it with some furniture or something. Anyways these low charging points are not safe and we decided to use the kitchen charging point which is higher. To cut the Long story short, it's really messy and not to mention quite unsafe with all the wires hanging ard..

One day I just got frustrated and started searching for ideas to organise my charging station. I remember a Pinterest that use a used bottle and cut it and hang at the power plug directly. "Hey!", I thought, "why not use the same idea but I will stick it to the wall using a 3M sticker instead?

The bottle we used is common Dettol handwash that we finished.

(Sorry for the messy plastic bag behind.. with a kiddo you just don't have time to be perfect abt pictures! Posting it already takes much effort! Lol.)

The result is this!

We cut out a shape that lets us see the entire screen of our handphone so we can actually keep it there momentarily while we check our messages etc. And you can notice there is a small cut hole at the bottom to accommodate the cable while charging. We cut 2 and pasted on the wall. One for each handphone as we used a multi-cable.

Best ever!

I just had time to wrap it nicely with wrapping paper.. although I feel it might be a fire hazard..
